“News tells us about events and things happening around us. We hear about it on TV, in newspapers, or from adults. News can be about our city or places far away. It shares stories about people, places, and sometimes even animals! We can learn many new things from the news, like how to help others or stay safe during emergencies. It’s important to pay attention to the news because it helps us understand the world better. When we know what’s happening, we can talk about it with our friends and family, and maybe even help make things better!”
